    This depends on who you talk to. Historically,it may have been true advice.
    and while they can and do move fast on land they cannot do so for long .
    Today in Fla the experts will tell one to stay 50 feet away from the water’s edge, and run away from the water in a straight line, feeling that one has less of a chance of tripping.
